Rental Terms

The following is a summary of the conditions for renting a vehicle with S Car Rental Chios. The full rental agreement is signed at pick-up.

Driver requirements

• Minimum age 21. A valid driving licence held for at least one year is required.
• Drivers aged 21–25 may be subject to a young-driver condition.
• A passport or ID and a driving licence must be presented at pick-up.

Pricing & payment

• Prices are shown live on our booking system and depend on season and rental length. No booking commission is charged.
• Payment is made on pick-up by cash, credit or debit card.

Insurance

Every rental includes statutory third-party liability cover. Optional full damage waiver is recommended. The applicable excess (deductible) and what is covered are explained before you sign.

Fuel & delivery

• Vehicles are provided with an agreed fuel level and should be returned at the same level.
• Free delivery and collection at Chios Airport, the port, hotels and accommodation across the island.

Use of the vehicle

The vehicle may be driven only on legal roads within Chios by authorised drivers named on the agreement. It may not be taken off the island without prior written consent.

Cancellation

Bookings may be cancelled free of charge with reasonable notice (a phone call at least 12 hours before pick-up). No deposit is required.
